HejResearchBot

HejResearchBot is an academic research bot used to study Web Bot Authentication and how websites handle cryptographically authenticated automated requests.

Purpose

• Evaluate Web Bot Auth identity attestation and interoperability.
• Study how websites and web infrastructure respond to authenticated automated traffic.
• Conduct controlled, low-frequency academic measurement experiments.

Operator

The bot is operated for academic research purposes.

Behavior

• Uses low request rates.
• Respects robots.txt and website access policies.
• Does not attempt to bypass CAPTCHAs, access controls, authentication requirements, or other website restrictions.
• Does not perform abusive crawling or bulk content collection.

Identity

Requests may use Web Bot Auth HTTP Message Signatures with an Ed25519 key.
